REGULAR MEETING

Supervisor Nelson called the meeting to order at 7:30 am. Nelson led those present in the Pledge of Allegiance.

Roll call: David Nelson, Supervisor; Don Griffith, Trustee; Jack Mumaw, Trustee; Art Rice, Trustee.

Also present: Priscilla Rose, Clerk; Becci Tonigan, Township Assessor; Tom Gooch, Highway Commissioner; attorney;

Public Comment
There was no public comment

Interview of prospective Trustee candidates to fill vacancy left by death of Roberta A. Svacha
The board met with the following candidates for trustee beginning at 7:30 am at 15 minute intervals: Doug Alexander, Jack Barringer, Bill Bernardo, Dan Cerny, Justin Gerak, Tom Rowan and Todd Sholeen. Bruce Sauer was not able to appear in person

Executive Session
A motion was made by Trustee Mumaw and seconded by Trustee Griffith to go into executive session to discuss the trustee vacancy.

Regular session recessed at 9:35 am.

A motion was made by Trustee Griffith and seconded by Trustee Rice to open regular session. Motion carried.

Regular session resumed at 10:13 am.

Roll call: Griffith, Mumaw, Rice, Nelson

Also present: Rose, Tonigan and Gooch

Supervisor Nelson told the board that he was in favor of appointing Doug Alexander to fill the trustee vacancy.

A motion was made by Trustee Mumaw and seconded by Trustee Griffith to appoint Doug Alexander to fill the trustee vacancy.

Roll call: Griffith- yes; Mumaw- yes; Rice- no; Nelson- yes. Motion carried.

Nelson will contact the candidates by phone of the decision to appoint Alexander to the trustee position and will follow-up with a letter by mail.

Adjournment
A motion was made by Trustee Griffith and seconded by Trustee Mumaw to adjourn. Motion carried. The meeting was adjourned at 10:15 pm.
