The New Year is always a wonderful opportunity to review the year past.   In doing so, I am reminded of the good work done throughout the Township by our dedicated elected officials and employees.  Regardless of the economic conditions, we always strive to be efficient and responsible with the funds extended to the Township through tax payer dollars.  We are  available for your comments, questions and concerns at the Township office at 28000 W. Cuba Road, by phone (847) 381-1924  or by email at cubatownship@comcast.net.  Please do not hesitate to contact us.

I would be remiss in the year’s review if I did not extend thanks to the many donors to our food pantry.  As our pantry exists solely on donations, contributions are key to its existence.  Donations of food items are quickly processed and put on the shelves.  Monetary donations are used to replenish items not currently in stock or to purchase gift cards for our recipients to purchase groceries and/or gas.  All pantry recipients must be Cuba Township residents and demonstrate a need for assistance.  If you feel you could benefit from the services of the food pantry, please contact the Township office at (847) 381-1924.  An intake interview will be scheduled with our Community Liaisons.

A gracious thank you is extended to the following organizations and businesses that have made a difference to the Cuba Township food pantry and to the MANY residents who have contributed their time and resources to the pantry.  Our apologies for any omissions.

Barrington Area Soccer Association, Lake Zurich Walmart, Fox River Grove Panera,

Barrington Woman’s Club, Newcomer’s Club, Smart Farm, Barrington High School clubs,

Andreano Chiropractic, Barrington Noon and Breakfast Rotary Clubs, Lake Zurich Trader Joe’s, St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, Wickstrom Ford, Barrington Junior Woman’s Club, Community Church of  Barrington, Barrington Giving Day, St. Matthew’s Church, Barrington area realtors, Barrington District #220 schools,

and numerous other generous individuals and organizations
